Gas cooling

In many processes gas must be cooled prior to further handling or before release into the atmosphere. Gas cooling is usually affected by condensation and or saturation effects, whioch have to be taken into account during design and operation of gas coolers. Efficient cooling of gas can often be performed in packed columns.
